Vancouver, BC

We stage. We pack. You move on.

Two of the most stressful weeks a home ever has — going on the market, and going into boxes. MOOP handles both: pre-listing decluttering and staging prep that makes your Vancouver home photograph bigger, and room-by-room packing that makes the unpack almost enjoyable.

Powder room vanity staged and styled for listing photos in a Vancouver home

Staging prep: sell the space, not the stuff

Stagers bring furniture; we do the step before that, the one that actually moves the needle in photos: editing what's already there. Counters cleared to two objects. Closets thinned so they close with room to spare — because in Vancouver, and doubly so in Yaletown, West End and Mount Pleasant condos, storage is the feature buyers hunt for, and every stuffed cupboard whispers "not enough." We declutter, we depersonalize just enough, and we present bathrooms, pantries and closets so the listing photographer's job gets easy. The powder room above is exactly that treatment.

Packing: the MOOP system

Packing with an organizer is different from packing with movers. We declutter as we pack — you stop paying to move things you were going to discard — and every box is labelled by room, zone and contents, sealed in the order the new home will need them. First-night box, first-week boxes, everything else. On the far side we unpack straight into organized systems: your new kitchen gets zones and labels on day one, not "once we're settled." We work moves all across Metro Vancouver — Burnaby, Richmond, North Vancouver, New Westminster, Coquitlam and beyond.

Who books this

Sellers and their realtors ahead of listing photos. Downsizers leaving a family home for a condo, where the editing matters more than the boxes. Growing families crossing town with a toddler and no spare evenings. And anyone who has moved before, remembers the last unpacking, and refuses to live out of boxes again. Recent transformations are in the gallery and on Instagram @moop.club.

Staging & packing FAQs

Why declutter before staging a Vancouver home for sale?

Buyers open closets. In Vancouver's condo market especially, storage is a selling point, and a stuffed closet reads as "not enough storage" in every showing and listing photo. Decluttering first makes every cupboard, closet and counter photograph bigger.

Do you pack the whole house or can I book single rooms?

Either. Some clients book us for the kitchen and closets — the two spaces movers hate and owners dread — others hand us the whole home. Every box is labelled by room and contents so unpacking is days, not months.

Can you help me unpack and set up the new place?

Yes, and it's the best-value session we offer: because we packed by zone, we can unpack straight into organized systems — your new kitchen lands organized on day one instead of "someday".
