What organizing with MOOP looks like
Every project starts the same way: we empty the space completely, sort like with like, and suddenly you can see what you own — usually including the three pairs of scissors and the second soy sauce. Then we edit together, measure what's staying, and build zones: the everyday zone at eye level and reach height, the sometimes zone above it, the rarely zone up top or under the bed. Containment and labels come last, and only where they earn their place.
In Vancouver that usually means working with small footprints. Yaletown and West End condos rarely spare a whole pantry cupboard, so we build vertical — risers, door racks, turntables in deep corners. Kitsilano and Mount Pleasant apartments tend to have one hallway closet doing coats, vacuum, tools and gift wrap at once, which is a zoning problem, not a space problem. In East Van, Burnaby and North Vancouver family homes the pressure point is usually the pantry, the mudroom and the kids' rooms — high-turnover spaces that need systems a seven-year-old can reset.

How long does it take to organize a kitchen in Vancouver?
Most Vancouver kitchens and pantries are a one- to two-session project depending on size and how much editing you want to do. Condo galley kitchens usually move faster than full-size family kitchens with deep corner cabinets.
Will you make me throw things away?
Never. Every keep-or-go decision is yours. Our job is to make the decisions easier and faster, then build a home for everything you keep.
Do you organize condos and small apartments?
Yes — small-space organizing is a MOOP specialty. Much of our work is in Vancouver condos where a single closet has to do five jobs, so we go vertical, zone aggressively and label everything.
